After the complete failure of the UK's entries in recent years, (which isn't down to political voting!) Scandipop-Tastic is, of course, proud to showcase the 4 best songs of the contest this year and show you our "ULTIMATE" song of the 2011 contest. From the picture below can you guess who it maybe?

First up, surprisingly this year is UK entrant Blue with "I Can" it seems that someone at the BBC might be finally coming to see sense and the dire songs we have been sending over recent years gone by. So what do you think? Take a look! Don't they all look mighty fine? I'm sure they will do the UK proud.
Coming up next a country that has only recently been apart of the contest Azerbaijan. Their entrants seem to do remarkably well each year, and the song "Running Scared" by Elli & Nikki seems to be no exception. A beautiful, happy, pop song.
Up next, a familiar face returns to Eurovision. Dana International, of Israel, who won the contest back in 1998, its attempting to capture the Eurovision crown with a typical camp pop song "Ding Dong" Scandipop-Tastic is simply in love with the song, if it fails Eurovision, it will certainly be a hit among the gay scene.
Now don't get Scandipop-Tastic wrong, every year, we love Sweden's entries, again this year being no except, we love it hence it being among our favourites. However the Swedes just missed out being our "Ultimate Eurovision Song" as there could of been a much better song representing Sweden, however this is what the Swedish public chose, and they may have been right, as this is one of the main favourites to win the contest this year. The song is called "Popular" by the rather dashing Eric Saade, if his vocals don't win over Europeans, his looks certainly will.
Now its time for our "Ultimate Eurovision Song" of 2011, ever since this song was chosen back earlier this year, it has forever been on loop at Scandipop-Tastic and has now been added to one of my favourite Scandipop songs of all time. This song is a first for Eurovision as it features vocals in both English and Swahili. The first ever African themed song to grace Eurovision, it has somewhat been met with mixed reactions, but I certainly hope Europe will embrace it, as it is one of the happiest songs i've heard in a long time. It just has that huge feel good factor about it, and truly deserves to win if not at least get into the final top 10. The song is from Norway and is called "Haba Haba" by Stella Mwangi. Enjoy. Much love from Scandipop-Tastic!!
